Born in Caracas, Venezuela, when the city was vibrating and started to give signs of being a modern metropolis.  The post-World War inmigrations, the visions and ambitions of local leaders, and the thirst for self-expression generated a unique ground for growth.

She grew up as part of a huge extended family, surrounded with love and teachings of the value of honesty, education, and citizenship.

The boom in the world of computing started, and careers such as Computing, Electronic, and Systems Engineering were in vogue, so there she went in 1979 – starting university at only 16 years old.  A couple of years into her career, the university promoted a new activity: "a theatre club."  That was the spark that started what became the rest of her life.

The world of words, communication, art, and creation open the doors for Libia as she studied Theatre and Social Communications, specializing in Marketing and Public Relations.

Performances, publications, productions, festivals, reporting, museums, corporate communications, travels, languages, are all things that are part of her experience but are, most of all, the added value that she brings.

Today at 60 years of age, Libia keeps studying every day and keeping up with the times.  She is a mother, a wife, a philanthropist, an art lover, and a good citizen.
